Why take it only as a topic of biology?
Menstruation is a social concern rather than a social stigma. Its meaning is much larger than what we think.
It is a concept of behavior. Girls must have to teach about menstrual hygiene at schools. Parent guidance and counseling are the need of the hour.
It is not a thing of embarrassment. Women need to talk about their period, as it is a matter of their body and physical and emotional well-being.
Scotland became the first country in the world to make period products free of charge. So now every woman has access to sanitary napkins, etc. In other words, they go one step closer to menstrual hygiene.
India also needs this type of policy.
Thank You.
